    Default computer id question

Guys and gals I bought a Camaro roller and the guy I bought I from threw in two computers with it. What I need to know is how to identify these computers I know that one is from a 1995 and the other is from a 1996 so what I need to know is how to tell if they are obd1 or 2 and id love to know what transmissions they are for. I would think they are for a stick car beings the car itself was stick, but I'd like to know for sure. So any more info in id ing these would be great. Thanks in advanced.-Trey

All 95's are OBD-1 and can be programmed to control a 95 PWM 4L60E or a 94-97 T56. All 96's are OBD-2 and can be programmed to operate a 96/97 PWM 4L60E or a 94-97 T56. You can only tell what trans they are programmed for by pulling the program. A 96 PCM can be converted to OBD-1.

The PCM can be programmed for automaric or manual. There is only one PCM part # used for a 95 LT1.

Look at the service # if it ends in 88051 that's OBDI
