Open House at Gen V Engine Plant Aug. 8.
We have been having an annual GM Powered Car Show at the plant that I work at since we first started building Gen III engines. This year there is also an open house tour of the plant. In the past this plant built Gen I engines (over 2000/day), Gen IE (Vortec), Gen III and Gen IV. All of the Gen IV equipment was removed early in 2013 and new equipment for Gen V was installed. Currently we are building the Gen V truck V8s at about 1000/day. The plant also builds 1300 HFV6's per day and 800 FWD speed automatic transmissions.
Car show registration is on this website.

It is located at 570 Glendale Ave., St.Catharines, Ontario, Can. L2R7B3. It's about 10 minutes from the Niagara Falls Border. The car show area is at the front of the plant with lots of big shady trees if you get there early enough.
