well i believe the battery light in high rpm is dew to he has under drive pullys still them are coming off his alternator is a 160 amp powermaster . I also found out his intake bolts were just finger tight not good hahaha and he has a few smoked plug wires im guna also check and clean the opti because of all the oil on it but there is still the oil coming from the turbo which I'll get to after i finish the intake gaskets and such.

Yuck. Glad to hear progress. Make sure you use the Blue felpro intake gaskets with the sealant around the ports. Might want to take the turbo to a reputable shop for an inspection. Should not be oil coming from the turbo. Is there any shaft play?

It has ported LT4 heads and intake i ordered the felpro gaskets for the LT4 the box even stated they were for the LT4 and they do not fit the intake ports properly i have a part number from the old one i do not no the brand as they have no markings but I'll try and get that straitened out in the morning im sure .97 firehawk m6 with a forged long rod 355 stock heads and intake soon to be upgraded to LE 21* tfs heads and a big asscam , rpm built level 5 t56 trans s60 with 4.30 gears umi suspension walbro pump and hot wire kit and a spinning best 12.36 @ 114 crap 60 foot.

well a little progress intake is back on and torqued to spec still think it was srange they were only finger tight when taken apart all new vacuum lines and i rerouted the vacuum and wiring to help it be safer and to clean it up a little im still waiting on some parts to show up to finish under the hood also hooking up the meth injection and msd box then it time to clean out the turbo piping and fix the oil run back issues once it up and running properly it will be retuned and should pick up some hp im hoping to see it run some better track numbers as well every time it was at the track something went wrong .

He has a two speed oil return pump and he.has had it on low i would think low would be for slow speed around town but he is always on the throttle so probly should run it on high speed the pump is working the turbo shaft has no play looks good i am going to double check the check valve .

Well it seems to be running pretty good now no more backfire in the high rpm and it idles better and pulls hard ther is still a slight miss at idle nit sure if there's a bad plug or what just yet but it's better he git on it and blew the charge pipe off he needs a new cuppler.

Well after fixing the intake leak , replacing the opti , water pump , plugs , wires , fuel pump she was running like a champ he was smoking most everything at the local 1/8th mile track except me of course haha well he got me a few times I have tire spin issues haha , anyways at the end of the season it started acting funny and it began to make a noise he was thinking a rod bearing , I never had chance to hear it well he fired it up and it sounded to me like an upper valve train noise and on the driver's side so we popped the intake and valve covers to make sure everything looked OK and we'll it looks like the rockers may have started to back off some they have been slamming the valve stem the rollers have flat spots and some damage to the body's one of them as a fracture starting . So it looks like we will be installing new lifters rockers and converting it to guide plates , hopefully have it back out spanking the LSx community again hahaha .
