Also need to use the damper hub and reluctor from the 97 if you plan to install the CKP reluctor wheel from the 97. And take the EVAP vacuum detector switch off the passenger side valve cover and install it on the 95.
You don't really need the CKP sensor for anything other than misfire detection. Omitting it will not have any effect on the way the engine runs. But it does provide useful diagnostic info if you have a problem.SOLD - GONE TO A (VERY) GOOD HOME ! - 94 Formula A3+1: 381ci forged stroker - Callies Stealth, Oliver 5.85 billet rods, BME nitrous pistons / CNC LT4 heads / CC solid roller / TH400+GearVendors OD / 4.11 Strange 12-bolt / 300-shot N2O / Spohn Suspension / roll bar / MoTeC M48 Pro engine management system /a few other odds 'n ends.

If you put a 97 engine in a 95 you just need to use the 95 knock sensor. You leave the CKP sensor, hub and timing cover alone. You just won't hook up the CKP sensor or the EVAP vacuum detect switch.
