    Default stock axle question

Are stock axles 28 spline? I'm planning on getting a mini spool and see there are options for 26 spline and 28 spline and even 30 spline. It is a 94 z28 by the way.

Also is the process that much more involved if I am taking a posi unit out instead of just the spider gears?

If you are going to do a mini-spool, your best bet would be to pick up a rear end from a v6 because I think you must have an open carrier to install a mini spool. I could be wrong though.

It looks like its the same setup minus having the plates with the springs and the clutches. It should be the same width across as an open carrier I would think. I'll have to do a little bit of research and see.
