96 impala spitting water out of tail pipe
Can anyone tell me how I can stop my 96 ss from spitting water out the tail pipes Thanks

That's normal...Catalytic converters convert hydrocarbons and Carbon Monoxide(CO) to H2O and CO2. It should clear up once its warmed up.

Actually, just burning gasoline produces water.... don't need the cat. The largest components of gasoline combustion gasses leaving the exhaust valve are carbon dioxide, water and nitrogen.

Condensation in the exhaust is normal when cold too. It should clear up when warm. If not you got something else going on..

If it doesn't stop as the exhaust system warms up, it may be coolant = bad news.
