question about loose converter
Ok just curious on what is meant by the term loose converter?
For instance when you take off from a dead stop. You can it to the red line and then get off it. Now when I go to get back on it it revs quite high.... And its a 3200 stall and it is going quite well over before you start really moving again right around 4500-5000 I'd say. Is that is what is meant by it? Just curious is all. But you do it from a dead stop it runs fine and how you would expect it to. Or do I have some more tranny tuning to do?97 Comp T/A #161 out of 164 LT1 383 stroker, TPIS/AFR heads, JE pistons, 9.3cr, extreme energy comp cams 224/230, Howards billet rods 5.85, Callies dragon slayer crank, 2 bolt mains converted to 4 bolt billet, Mildon oil pump, MSD opti, 6AL, boost retard, HVC 2 blaster coil, BBk 58mm, 50lb injectors, 3200 stall. Took 600b off to help fund twin turbo.

Does it act the same way if you have the shifter in D as it does with it in O/D?
