So if they fit without cutting now, prepare for growth and cut preemptively?

If 150=1.5", then as long as you have an inch clearance you have more than enough :P

LOL. That is interesting about the growth factor. Never even thought about that before. What rear do you plan on running OP?

Well, seeing as 1.5" is 3/4" to the radius, you are absolutely correct. 1" should give 1/4" clearance. I realize you meant this as a jab but you kinda stepped on your dick with the math. LOL.

might want to roll the inside fender lip also. i was running 11.5 26, and it squatted too much and cut right into the sidewall.

I had 28x11.5-15 QTP's and was able to recenter the axle in the wheel wells with adjustable LCA's. No trimming, at least not to 130MPH. When I switched to M/T 28x10.5-15W ET Drags (M/T shows 28.1" diameter) with tubes, they were about 1/16" from the rear bumper. Cut the bumper plastic back, and at 130MPH on a chassis dyno they were still hitting the tip of the metal behind the cut away bumper cover. Had to hammer the metal back a little bit.

Here's the rear and the front edges of the wheel well:
