Wiring info would be needed to help since everyone does it slightly different, for example mine, a MSD Digital 6 plus, needs to 12v to the blue wire. I have mine setup that once a switch is in the closed position on the dash the brake switch works as my source voltage that flows up through a relay triggered by dash mounted switch then to the box. I use it this way in conjunction with my launch control (linelock) since putting a trans brake on a 60e is not advisable. It allows me to set turn on the 2step after the burnout box by flipping the switch, I use the 2step to appoach the second beam then lock my linelock and let the 2step rev. On a protree I release the footbrake, letting the engine sing, a hair before releaseing the linelock since it takes a bit to respond and have netted decent times that way...

I have one. All it needs is an input signal. Make sure you have power entering and leaving your switch...

I know the switch works because my line lock works I just think from point a the switch to point b the box there's a split but I'm not sure if there's another think I can check before I start changing wires

Is the wire that activates the 2 step getting power when you activate it?
