Default Got my 8.8 housing back.

In efforts to clean out my dad's garage so I can start my blower manifold, I've been pushing to finish my 8.8.

After a month (or two) at my builder, I finally picked the housing up this morning. My builder doesn't feel comfortable about welding to cast steel, so he advised I take that to a specialist. Plan on dropping it off tomorrow to have the tubes welded and the Hiltsy mount put on.

Here is a few pictures of the housing.

What he did was cut the ends off and weld them closer to the housing. Spent a pretty penny on having this done ($800), but it was worth it. After I receive it back from getting the mount welded on, I'll have it powder coated as well.

I plan on adding LPW axle braces, carbon fiber clutches, and Moser 31 spline axles
