Thoughts on Reman. 52 TB
I'm looking for a 52mm TB, read a few times 58 is overkill and don't want to pay 300 for one anyhow. So I found this reman lt1 bored to 52 and comes powdercoated red to match the lt4 intake color! Good deal? Plus if I send him my stock take off, its a $35 off core charge.

I purchased mine of Ebay, not sure if it is the same seller, and I have had no problems with mine. Mine was a little less if I remember right but It was not coated or polished. Seems like a deal to me.

They seem to know how to properly rebuild the darn things. I'll have to get my intake powdercoated to match now >

I think the stock bored TB's are the best choice IMO instead of the aftermarket ones. That red TB would look tits with an LTX tech TB id plate..

I read the thread on here about the IAC valve being best on the lt1 TB's so that really made my mind up on what kind to get. I've got my eye on a firebird on the id plate. If I can't have a firechicken on my hood, then my intake will do lol.

I definitely saw the 58mm Professional Products TB for sale for $215 new not that long ago. I would go with it for more headroom.

BTW... I was just wondering if you did any comparison shopping with our two VENDOR sponsors here.
Im not sure if they have what you want... but I know if they do.... their prices and service are very competitive...

I bought my 52mm tb from these guys & haven't had a problem with it. My was cheaper, but it wasn't powder coater or polished.

Think I'm more excited about the paint than I should be. Thanks for the reminder Popo8 I'll consult the vendors!
