Default Mixed up lifters. Can they go in anywhere?

I was in a hurry last night and when removing stuff to be cleaned, turned the engine upside down and all the lifters came out. I'm trying to get this back together as cheap as possible. I don't want to buy new lifters just to have to buy them again when I build the other engine.

you should be fine. its still a good idea to put them back in the same place, but they are not like the old flat lifters that wear into the cam.

Alright. I'm only going to be running this engine probably 10k miles max. It's just to hold me over while I save up for my wedding. I wish I wasn't in such a hurry.

Agreed. The HR stuff is a lot more forgiving than the old school tappet or solid stuff.
