Where do I get a hardened one from I remember someone said summit but I'm not sure what to look for

are you talking about the Oil pump drive shaft? Or the distributor oil pump gear drive, the one under the intake?

Oh, and I thought he was talking about the drive since the title was "Oil pump gear drive" which also tend to wear some faster than others. I know summit does sell the gear which is melonized. Either way the part number for that is 19052845
