    Default She is back from the dead!

    As many members here know I have been fighting with issues on my car since i get back from korea in 2012. well long story short after almost three years of sitting, having to replace the ignition system, new brakes and master cylinder and a myriad of other problems, she is now running with NO CODES. I let it run for about a half hour and still no SES light or codes. I attached a video, question about it why the heck is my scan master going all 8's if it isnt getting a proper signal it will just turn off. I checked all the wiring today and it seemed fine....I am also a little nervous about the amount it smokes when I rev it a bit. The only thing I can smell from the smoke is it is running SUPER rich.I am kinda hoping its just knocking all the crap out of it from sitting for so long. the video really does no justice of how it sounds. I cant wait to get her back on the street. Just want to say thanks to all the members here on ltxtech. You guys and gals have all been a big help and kept me motivated to keep working on my formy

    POPO also already let me know too drive it before I get to excited about the no code things. I am just happy its running so well after not being able to start at all, then running like shit.

    Glad she's up and running again! Nice car too I saw it in ur sig ut I wasn't sure if that was the one giving u the problems. Where u get that fancy gadget on the steering column.?

    The thing on the steering column is the LT1 scanmaster. I cant figure out why mine is showing all 8's but when it is working it is great for pulling data from the ECM. Thats how i knew what codes were being thrown

    I could see that coming in handy big time. I have to sit a damn laptop on the passenger seat and have my girl try and read the hyroglyphics. Or try And glance back and forth street, laptop,street laptop. As far as the running really rich, maybe some injector cleaner. I know my car was smoking like a small house fire when I had some crud stuck in the injectors. I'm guessing it sees one side lean and over compensates by dumping way to much fuel.
