    Default INNOVA 3140 Diagnostic Code Scanner for OBDI and OBDII Vehicles

    Has anyone ever used this scanner on our cars. They have this for a decent price on amazon, and I didn't think it would be bad to have since I could use it on most any car really. Here is the link on amazon.

    Not sure about that one, but I know if you need an OBD2-only scanner, there's a MUCH cheaper alternative (like $30 or less). Unfortunately it doesn't work for OBD1.

    for obd2 get yourself a obd2 blue tooth adapter from ebay for $10

    innova 3140 I used mine 3 times the day I got it. 7 time after that in less than 4 months. I didnt use it again till 1 yr. and 3 weeks later. then nothing but a blue screen will come on. thats when I found out I was out of warr. by 3 weeks. but $90.00 bucks plus shiping they will tune it up.

    Pretty much the same thing happened to me. I used it a bunch at first, and it lasted for about a year and a half until I got the blue screen only.
