Leave them silver or strip and polish them. Don't paint them.

Actually, I would paint them but tape off the rim and leave it silver. I painted my salad shooters on the firebird and they turned out great, for what they are that is.
I wouldnt paint the whole wheel though. id say paint them, since i opaint all my wheels, but again its kinda useless since you want nicer wheels. i think painting them would help tho..

Another vote for going with new wheels. How about some silver 10 spokes and paint them like this.
