    Default Weight Reduction Question

    I saw the following mentioned in a post:
    "There's roughly 6-7lbs of fender metal that you can cut off on each side"

    Does anyone have any pics of this?

    I'll have to look for pics. But it's beneath your actual fenders. Some extra metal you can shave off.

    Do you loose any structural integrity? What was that metal for in the first place? Thanks for the pic!

    Does not hurt the car one bit. It's just extra metal. The fender still hangs the same and you can't tell te metal is removed.

    Im doing this when i do the fender/bumper work.
    94 Trans am. Built 383/T56(437/409) Wilwoods, tubular suspension, QA1/BMR, Watts Link. Stripped down and set to kill!
