Father-In-Law of the perp called the shop today to see about what'd going on. Was very cool and collected, but was asking if I was going to pay for the caliper. I caught wind because my writer went walking by and said loudly "No I don't think it's fair that we ask (my name) to pay for the caliper when it came in here leaking in the first place." He laid a plug about the perp holding my tool hostage, but it didn't go anywhere. I'm going to let it pan out this week and if by the end of the week I haven't hear anything then I'll file a police complaint.

Your patience is far superior to mine!! And I consider myself a patient person. I understand not wanting to go to jail, or losing your job. I couldn't let it go for another week, I'd be at the police station tomorrow and seeing if I could get an officer to make a call.
