I agree, for the most part, MIFBody is a great social site, and a lot of knowledgeable people in general, but when I have issues/questions that are LTX specific, I come here first. No offense to the MIFBody folks, but the concentration of LT1/LT4 folks is higher here than it is there.

I frequent both sites, they are usually both open in tabs in my browser 24/7, and I check them both about 10-15 times a day.

That said, Welcome to LTXTech, Patrick! Go ahead and post your issues with the 'vette up, we'll gladly help you diagnose it! Don't rush off and buy an Opti though, I just did that, and the problem turned out to be something completely unrelated, so I wasted my money replacing a part that didn't need replacing. . . Post up your symptoms, I'm going through the same problems right now with my LT1 not running right, and I know dozens of others on this site have been there at some point. Plenty of knowledge here, best bet is to exploit the resources available to you, and hopefully save some money, time, and frustration by diagnosing it properly. Too many folks rush to blame the opti prematurely, rather than attempting to diagnose the symptoms individually.

Again, welcome to the site, and WE WANT MOAR PICTARS!

    1994 Pontiac Formula-PPM, LT1/T56, BBK Stainless Shorty Headers, Magnaflow cat-back, 17" C6 5-spokes.
Coming Soon: Full UMI tubular suspension, UMI STB, Eibach ProKit coils, KYB AGX adjustable shocks, and a tune.

I already bought an opti for it, but I haven't put it in yet. I will probably drag it out of winter storage this weekend and try to get it running. The car pretty much quit while I was driving it. And I will be sure to take more pictures when I get both cars cleaned up a bit. I do admit, I am a terrible photographer.

Did it throw a High Res Pulse or Low Res Pulse code when it quit? How did it run leading up to the sudden engine stop? Can you restart the car at all at this point?

The car was running normal and then quit out of nowhere. I re-started the car and it started to misfire. After a couple of times trying to restart the car, it completely stopped working altogether. I can't start the car anymore at all.
