Just something to think about with thi, if you ever intend to race, but I'm pretty sure you can't have regulators or any fuel system component mounted to the firewall? I think is how I remember it. So if you run one inside they might fail it at inspection. I know it's not the firewall but its pretty close n even worse closer to the drivers seat.
nothin else just mount it like the judge did their tach n put a pod on the hood. Might look pretty nice if made to match the side view mirrors style I think.

Eh, I'll keep the gauge around as a diagnostic tool but I'll put an AFR gauge in its place.
Now I just have to figure out if I want to keep that active hornets nest above the fireplace in the back seat.....Chris

I wan't a wideband AFR too. Thinking I may sell off my collection of 2-5/8 autometers as they are a pita to fit in the 4th jenns.

Many years ago, I tried an AutoMeter high pressure (100psi) fuel isolator, with a mechanical gauge. The isolator failed, and I found fuel in the glycol filled line inside the passenger compartment. When I complained to AutoMeter they indicated they had a problem with the isolators failing, and had discontinued them (I see they now sell one rated at 200psi). They gave me a full credit for the cost of the isolator and some -AN fittings I had purchased, and I applied the credit to an AutoMeter Sport-Comp electronic analog gauge. When we were modifying the fuel rails for parallel flow rather than series flow, the shop added a 1/8"NPT bung to one of the rails so we could mount the pressure sensor.
I would never use an isolator again.
