    Default cant decide on a cam

    car is about to see some major mods... i have a m6 97 with 4.10 and a 100 shot. i ordered kooks 1rhs headers with kooks true duals i also ordered the 24x system and now im having trouble deciding on what cam to go with ive looked into comp xtreme fuel injection 268 the cc503 cam and the cc306 cam. i was leaning more towards the 268 but ive heard mixed reviews on it and dont want to get something that wont perform well with my mods. i also dont want a cam just for its sound but more for performance

    The 503 is a good choice for a stock headed car, on the spray it'll be a really fun car. I have a set of Darts on mine that were ported by LME all with the stock bottom end. It took some tuning like any larger cam would to get the drive-ability down, I am running the 24X as well. The street twin gets more annoying then that cam does when you get stuck in traffic.

    That's what I heard was good for stock heads. What's your thought on comps xtreme fuel injection 268? What timing set did you go with?

    If I could do it all over again, I would have gone with the AI cam package instead of piecing together a CC503 package. Unfortunately GM blocks advancedinductions' website so I can't pull up the cam but it's sized similar to the CC503... it just seems to perform better.

    I'm having to rebuild my bottom end much sooner than I had hoped, and have a 503 that's coming out in a few weeks or when ever I get time between jobs and school to finish ripping the motor down. Pm me if you're interested.

    Ai is my future route for sure when I do heads and intake. Ill definitely check that cam out.
