thermostat?
the heat in my car isn't working. the blower motor works but no hot air comes out. could it be the thermostat? if so should i get a certain kind? i konw there is one that everyone switches to but im not sure what it is.

I've got a 160 in mine. It's not really the best if you are wanting a good/quick heater, but it works for me.
Is the water temp. fluctuating? Usually when a thermostat is going out, it will bounce around more than normal, and when it does open, you'll get your heat.
If not, I'd try flushing the whole system, including the heater core. It's not leaking any water, is it? If the water pump is going out, that could be the culprit. Once again, if that's the case, your coolant temp. gauge is going to be acting funky.

i know it not leaking water. but, im not at home to drive it so im not really sure about the gauge.

I'd put money on your heater core being clogged. Happens all of the time on these cars. Flush it, or just replace it. It's not that hard to do.

^^^ its that easy, i apologize for the hijack, but i have zero heat, and i had it last year. the ater pump it new, and my guage doesnt bounce. ill get the core flushed, anyone know how much that runs????

it's just the price of water... Pull the two lines off that run to the heater core and flush it out with the garden hose till the water comes out clean...
