Little update on this I thought it was a pickup but it is an old grain truck that had the bed removed so here I am stuck in a quandary get it and stick a diesel in it and turn it into the tow rig either as a roll back or old school boom... It would have the provisions for a tilt bed so i am sorta leaning that way but then the next idea is buy a 500 dollar s10 off CL and strip it to a frame and tuck and drop this body into a v8 s10 powered resto rod? either way it is getting saved but if I got it and got a flooded out diesel from back east for dirt cheap wouldnt that make a killer tow truck... Thinking out loud but any idea would be great... It will be the only ford in my fleet tho lol

Whatever you do, dont think you are going to make a killing off of it if you re-sell it. I know first hand with all the cars I have done over the years. Build what you like and be prepared to eat your labor costs if you sell. Only ppl that make a killing on re-selling old/custom cars are guys like Chip Foose & Boyd Codditon(when he was alive) and that is just casue thier name is on it.
