2 more things fixed

my coolant boil over issue has been fixed. It was just the rad cap.
also changed the drivers side exhaust mani gasket. I used the fel pro 1406's and let me to you, if you do not cut the 2 tabs off at the ends, you can have a tough getting each end bolt in !

You put the end bolts in first then use them to hang the gasket in place. That's what they are there for.

thank you though. i figured they were there for that reason, but when i tried that way it wasnt working

Hey bud, we are both correct. I took the exhaust mani off to replace the one i just installed with a new one (trying to keep tabs on) and it was a no go. The stock mani's use the bolt
hole further out, so it is necessary to cut the tab on each end of the 1406 fel-pro gaskets to have a smooth install. This time it only took me 30 mins! :]
