I get nervous every time I fart. At my age, you just can't trust farts anymore....
    But seriously,
6 guys said they they've sprayed without retarding the timing, some pushing more than what your looking at starting with. Just start low and keep an eye on the datalog. I really think you'll be fine

here is the general rule... 2 degrees of timing per 50hp after a 100 shot... your car will naturally pull up to i think its 4 degrees retard on its own if it detects knock from the spray... no worries my friend... ive seen stock LT1s and also done myself 175 all day without pulling any timing. but if your gonna run 100 octane you should be able to spray 200 with no worries... well... on a detonation standpoint, now cylinder pressure, and sending one of those junk stock hyperutectic pistons to its grave is another part (this is while on a 200) youll be perfectly safe up to 175... just make sure you never spray it under 3K RPM and if you have stick make sure you have a window switch.
