More progress! Got the custom axles from Moser the other day and just dropped them off with Chris so he can start finishing this thing up.

more pics to follow as Chris makes progress on welding everything up!"Only in the Corps can you put three guys in a room with an anvil and a rubber mallet, come back 15 min later, and the anvil is broken, the rubber mallet is missing, and nobody saw a damned thing!"

And now a pic of some of the carnage from the 10 bolt I grenaded lol

For those who can't see, there are two complete teeth missing from the pinion gear."Only in the Corps can you put three guys in a room with an anvil and a rubber mallet, come back 15 min later, and the anvil is broken, the rubber mallet is missing, and nobody saw a damned thing!"

Alright, this build is making progress, the only thing left is to fabricate a torque arm bracket, which is going to have to wait until after I move. The important thing though is that the housing will be completely welded in the next couple of days. I will post pics sometime next week after my move is complete.

If you happen to have the stock axle available for measurement can you tell me what the measurement of the center of the pinion yoke to the wheel flange is on each side? In addition, I need to know how far the Lower Control Arm Mounts are from the Pinion Centerline so I can determine how narrow I can go with a donor axle.
Thanks,
Joe

I had the measurements at one time, I'll have to see if I can find them. The stock axle I had I sold to a guy awhile back

Alright, I've merged this thread with my other build thread into one mega-soon-to-be out of control build thread. I will not be responding to either this thread or my engine, so please direct any questions to the thread below or PM me. Thank you.
