Road racing a 4l60e?
Anybody on here successfully rebuild a 4l60e that can stand up to constantly downshifting and up-shifting while still being able to put it in drive and go when you want to? I don't really want a manual because it is expensive to swap and I don't want to have to worry about shifting unless I am racing. So is it possible? I have done lots of research on shift kits and various torque converters but I am more worried about the transmission blowing up. Can/does anyone build these with the intention of manually shifting and road racing while retaining 4 gears??
"I don't get it. I'm not exactly deaf and I've never given tire noise a second thought. So, I think the people that complain about them are: a) Suffering from hyperacusis b) Candy asses c) Still waiting to have their mufflers changed to the "real man" version" - HAHAHAHAHA quote from vmptuning on fordgt500.com
