I live in Rome. I suppose anywhere in the Upstate region would suffice.

I recently talked to a shop up in North Tonawanda. Kennedy's Dyno Tune. He said he uses tunercat along with a chassis dyno. I'm interested in where Joelster says. I'm sure he has had experience with said tuner.

Kennedy's is 5 minutes from me. He's expensive as hell, and doesn't go crazy into detail with LT1 tunes. He'll make it hit 12.9-13.0/1 AFR and call it good. Your best bet for tuning is to PURCHASE the tuning software yourself, and then ask your local LSx shop to have a look. Tuning software is all very similar, it's how you navigate through the different tables to make changes. Some shops are well-versed in one specific type (such as HP tuners) but that doesn't mean that the main guy couldn't also tune a car equipped with a FAST XFI setup if there was a laptop in front of him. He'd figure it out, it just might take him a little longer. Most shops DO NOT have LT1 edit or tunercat.

Great input there Joelster. I was curious myself, didn't want to trailer a car 110 miles and change on a whim. Anybody know of a shop in the Rochester area?

I heard about them on another forum. Kevin at Twisted Synergy seems very knowledgeable. He answered all of my questions. I plan on having some work done in the near future and I'd like to give them a shot.
