does anyone sell a cat back exhaust without the muffler?
Reason I ask is my dad has a flowmaster outlaw muffler that dumps in front of the axle and he's bitchin that it to loud, (old people, right?) Anyways id like to get a mandrel bent pipe to get over the axle so I can get it out from underneath the car and see if that makes it any better. If not, I thought about putting a resonator in. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Lol. "This is a great sounding exhaust!" Its just a straight pipe.
Also, when you route it out the back, it will probably be louder. The sound has the potential to resonate off more things. Dumping it under the axle, a lot of the sound will deaden as it bounces off the pavement and the bottom of the car. It'll be bassier though.1993 z28 - stalled and bolted

Yea that sinister kit is what I'm looking for but 4" is too big. There is a new flowmaster cat back on eBay for $255 shipped but I don't want the muffler. No shops around here can do mandrel bending. I might just order a few 180 bends and do it myself.

Just delete the muffler and weld in a test pipe. Or get a loudmouth and you have virtually no muffler anyways. Its what I have and its ridiculous. I'm pretty sure the muffler doesn't do anything. Plus the muffler on that is located on the I pipe so if you wanted to remove it and put in a test pipe instead, its very easy.
