    Default Stock water pump no HVAC

    What did you guys do with the coolant ports on the waterpump when you got rid of your HVAC?
    1994 Camaro Z-28 M6
    LE 242/248 cam,Crower split ratio rockers,AI 23*Trick Flow heads,JetHot longtube headers,Borla exaust,ewp,pro5.0,hybrid TNT wet kit.

    A couple fiends have removed the steel pipe parts, then had the pump TIG welded up. Another had his drilled and tapped for a pipe plug. For me I just slapped on a 5/8" bypass cap. I plan to hook my heater up again eventually. FWIW the bypass caps don't last long. They will dry rot and start leaking in a few thousand miles. I have yet to find a good long lasting set.

    I had the pressed inserts removed and the holes tig welded.

    This is how I plugged my oil cooler delete, just posted this on the other site then saw this thread. I just went to oreillys and got the freeze plug for under a dollar. Popped the nozzle out and slapped this plug in. Took a few minutes and works like a charm.
