That sounds nice! What do you have, manifolds or headers? And whats a fake Flowmaster?
I've got SLP mids, no cat and a Flowmaster and it sounds similar to yours except mine will pop and bang on decell. I think its cause I've got a exhaust leak by my cutout.

stock manifolds, no cat, and i think the muffler is a flo pro ebay flowmaster knock off. it came off my friends ls1 car so it has his tail pipes welded on it. yeah i felt a big differance with the cat gutted and cant wait to track it to see if I run better times. I need a cut out, where did you put yours? after where the cat would be??

My cutout is where the cat used to be. I went to the track aug 10 and with the cutout open I gained .6 mph. This week I am going to get my tune updated for the headers and 4.10 gear I put in this year. Hopefully I will gain more with a tune. Sorry for late reply.

Nice I actually finally blew my head gasket about a week ago And when I pulled the heads I could tell that the head gasket has been blown ever since I've owned this car the last year So I expect with the new head gasket in the cat being removed that when I take it to the track and will do a lot better than 14.3 LSwho has been turning the car for me but there's some issues with knock retard, So I'm probably going to have to get the LT4 knock module or replace my knock sensor. And one of these days I'll get a set of long tubes and electric cut out for this car. It would've been really nice to have been able to install set along tubes when I was doing the head gasket.
