    yes the stock iron crank is MUCH stronger then eagle cast steel crank.

    This is my understanding as well. The real thing to look out for is the rods via the rod bolt. Stock ones do not hold up well to high rpm situations.

    I found that out the hard way, I stretched the stock ones out and spun the bearings.
