Default Fans stay on after removing HVAC??

Ok, so I finished up replacing head gaskets yesterday and after doing some research this morning, I have a couple of vacuum lines in the wrong places, and I cut a wire on accident to the EGR solenoid (!EGR anyways). Anyways, I pulled AC/Heat lines (up to the block/box on the firewall). Would this cause fans to come on about 5 seconds after start up?

After more research, I think i have figured it out. Do they fans come on as a failsafe anytime the SES light comes on? I'm thinking the instant SES light is from the EGR solenoid.

K, snagged a new connector for the EGR Solenoid. Will rewire that tonight, and get vacuum lines where they should be and see whats shakin.

    Thanks!
