how's the 02's? i know its not throwing any o2 codes but i had a old car do those exact symptoms. unplug the 02's and see if it goes away just for the kicks of it

Was just saying if you are still having the issue you may want to ohm test them to be sure, a stuck injector will cause a very similar misfire. There is a video of the procedure in the sticky here.
Or how about this, buy a set of my Design III Bosch customs for $189 for the set of 8, flow matched set, viton o-rings installed, and if you don't like them, I will give you a 100% refund.
Injectors by themselves are not going to show you any power gain, you will see increased mileage, better throttle response especially at partial throttle, and reliability, as you are moving from 1980s technology to 2000s

i do like the price and i might do that ... problem turned out to be an arcing/burnt plug wire ... how much of a gain in mpg could i see with the Design III Bosch customs and no dyno tuning just a injector swap?

in my own personal LT4 Corvette, I picked up 3MPG. The HUGE difference was the part throttle response, and idle quality.
