93 Z28 running gear into 96 Bird roller
Here's the story, my brother-in-law picked up a 93 automatic camaro that the body is toast on. He also picked up a 96 trans am m6 roller, The only part of the whole deal that I'm not too sure on is the wiring.
I was planning on using the computer, and engine harness from the 93 but do I have to rewire anything inside the car or is there a way to use the obd 2 aldl with the 93 obd 1 computer?
I know and understand the benefits of running a 95+ pcm but for now we just want to get it drivable
Can I use the car side harness from the 93 in the 96 to feed the gauges and etc?
or ( I havent looked yet) but will the 96 car side plug into the 93's pcm/engine harness??
94 M6 Formula, SLP headers, Chrome Firehawks, short throw, Borla cat back
UMI Lca's, 98 tails, 97 console, 95+ steering wheel, 4.10's 88K

im not an expert but im fairly certain your cant as the 93 still uses chips.....also wasnt there an issue with the 95s because some of them came with obd2 comps and obd1 connectors....
383, Eagle crank, scat rods, Mahle pistons, 238/248 .565 cam. 3k stall, AFR 210 heads, Pacesetter LT, 58 MM TB and a few other goodies.

CORRECTION!!
the engine donor car is a 94 NOT a 93 and from what I have heard it should plug in and jive with the 96's "car side" wiring
Right??

just use the wiring thats in the 96 car.. it will not jive.. 94 wiring is unique to 94.. 95 is unique to 95.. 96-97 are the same. ohh and 93 is unique obviously

use the wiring from the donor car that your getting the driveline from.....
Parts gathering for the turbo build has commenced!!! 
junk i have - 76mm turbo, 60# msd injectors, block, heads, intake, tb, tunercats, 1 ajax 2 bar factory pcm tune, moates apu1!
junk i need - camshaft, rods, +30 turbo pistons
