reuse stock retainers/locks or replace?
So this winter ive decided to replace the 150k mile stock valvesprings with some new LT4 springs that I ordered from Jegs (im not planning a cam swap anytime soon, and these springs will handle a 1.6 rocker upgrade if I decide to go that route in the future). Anyway, i was wondering if its ok to reuse the stock retainers and locks or if it woud be better to replace them? Do i need something other than the stock LT1 replacement peices, or would i need something different altogether due to the LT4 springs?

I would not hesitate to reuse the OEM hardware. Go for it.

Yep, I just did the same thing on my 190k motor. I reused the locks and retainers. Let me tell you. The butt dyno is happy
