supposed to give you more complete combustion with the multiple discharge the box provides (and possibly more HP). I run one at the track and i notice more pull on the bottom end. The 6AL has a rev limiter which is nice, and a hook up for a aftermarket Tach. There are some that say they will kill an opti. MIne was installed along with a new MSD coil, wires, plugs and a new MSD opti. So far things are fine
