Differences, 93-2000 Z28s
I've got a failing AC compressor in my 93 Z28. A friend of mine has an AC compressor out of a 2000 Z28 and I was wondering if they would swap out or if they were specific to their years?
Also along those same lines is the dash interchangable out of a 2000 to the 93? I would be using the entire dash, from the pad to the glove box, nearly everything, the only thing I will be using out of my 93 will be the actual gauge pod, so basically will the 93s gauge pod work in the 2000 dash?Last edited by iggy913; 12-26-2009 at 04:09 PM. A/C compressor part #'s are different.
If your going to run the newer dash, why not run the newer gauges as well?

The guy doesn't have the gauge panel from the 2000 I believe. I also read somewhere that the gauge panel out of the newer car will not read properly in the older car, something like the sending unit for the gas tank won't work.
