    Default Borla or SLP LM

Ok guys, I have a Borla catback sitting in the garage and a SLP LM on the car now. My question is would it be worth while to swap the two. I am looking for more of a deeper sound than I currently have and was wondering if the Borla is deeper or close to the same. Thanks in advance.

Is this on an LTx? If so I'd go with the Borla, it has a bit deeper of a noise. On the LSx, assuming you don't have headers I'd pick LM. Make sure to not let them weld it incase you don't like it.

Its all a matter of taste in the end, a good place to go is LS1sounds.com and check them out. LTx does sound a bit different than LSx, seems to have an overall deeper rumble.

Borla might be a little deeper, but not by much. If you think you will like it more then go for it, its all up to you.

You will notice a difference, but less then you think... At least with the borla you can control the noise level/sound if you have the plates.

Yes, it is on a LT1. I think I will do it for something a little different. Currently I have shorty headers on but hope to put LTs on this winter.

I can attest that the borla does NOT have the rasp of the LM. But for god-awful dead wakening sound, LM all the way.

I have pasesetter LT's, ORY, and LM2 exhaust on my Formula. I think it sounds really good. Borla also sounds good, but I like to be loud(er).

Id keep the slp personally. I just dont like the sound of borla mufflers for somereason. It should sound deeper though and probably a good bit quieter with the plates closed.
