New Guy from PA to this Board
Hello Everyone,
My name is Troy, I'm 22 years old and currently a poor college student. I live about 15 minutes south of Pottsville, PA and 30 minutes north of Reading, PA.
My rides are my fbody which is a 1996 Z28/SS. It's build number 67. I was lucky to find this car back in 03 at a good price and could not pass it up. I've slowly been modding it since and this winter I will be adding the most so far. My everyday car is an 03 SRT-4. It's a great little everyday car that is fun to drive. If I wasn't a V8 and GM guy I would have prolly just modded my srt and forgot about the camaro. I also have a project truck that I am starting on slowly. It is an 81 Chevy 3/4 4x4 with a 4inch lift and 33's. I plan on replacing the tired and leaky drivetrain(305 mated to a turbo 350) with a mildly built 350 and built turbo 350 trans. Plan on goin with 6" lift with atleast 35's. Doing all the work including body, drivetrain, suspension, interior, custom fabbed bumbers, rollbar, and rock sliders. I'm trying for a low cost build that will end with a capable and dependable off roading/towing rig. I also have an 02 Yamaha R6.
I meet up with a few local clubs as often as posible and freqruently visit numidia, maple grove, carlisle, and local car shows. I hope to learn a lot here and give help when I can. Post up if your somewhat local to me and we could arrange to meet up with other local fbody owners.
