I have to pull my motor apart and look at the heads again. I know the oil drain for the heads is a mod that needs done when using sbc heads. Not sure what the difference there is in the block but there is something different between the two.

It sickens me that they will go and tool an aluminum Honda block but not a domestic LT1 block, when they already have 90% of the block done in sbc SHP form.

they'll make a $2600 Honda block that noone can afford, but they won't make an LT1Last edited by joelster; 10-30-2009 at 07:06 PM.

Not really. Stock blocks and mildly worked stock heads with a turbo are the core of about 99% of Honda builds. A stock Honda block can go well over 400hp with no worries. Those Dart Honda heads are clearanced (priced) and discontinued, and those Dart Honda blocks are $2600. A $2600 4 cylinder block is not going to sell to an 18 year old kid with a fart can.
