LT1 idle and backfiring
ok so I had a problem with my water pump leaking and I believe it was leaking on my distributor and or optispark and causing the car to do wierd things. So I replaced my water pump and all was good. So today I wanted to spray off the bottom passenger side of my engine to get the power steering fluid mess clean so I can see which line is leaking. Well I also sprayed the top of the engine a little to get some built up oil off and when I started the car it was fine. On the way home it backfired once (felt like a bomb in the road) and then at the light it started to die and wanted to stall. Well in the video I shut off the car and started it back up and it was a little rough to start and then it started doing what you see here. At idle it would bounce around and revving it went to 0 rpm. And when I revved it smelled strong of fumes exhaust/gas. I took off the throttle body play let awhile ago and it wouldn't go in right so I don't it's that. I need some help with figure this out.
