Stay away from the S-10 style converters. They were originally built for 4 cylinders, so they're not very capable of handling the LT1. We see alot of failures and inefficiencies with those converters. Inefficient converters hurt fuel economy and MPH. They also generate excessive heat. I can get you a nice converter from Protorque that has a little more stall than stock for $350 shipped to you. These are quality converters that are built by the best converter company in the country. Check that flexplate before you drop the money on a converter though. If you need a Flexplate, talk to Gail at American Powerhouse. She's also a vendor on this site. She can get you better prices than anywhere else. 1501425_10152283589874059_1377404505_o.jpg
