    Default tranny/timing issue

    first off new to the site and so far so good. and now i ask for ideas. i have a 93 383 camaro, and lately it has been running pretty rough. it idles fine but when i accelerate it has a kind of miss or sstudder. and then it satarts backfiring. now yesterday my torque converter bolts broke, further inspection showed one was loose. my question is could the knock sensor have been picking the noise up from the tranny and started to mess with the timing??
