i honestly don't know what i'd do if my wife came at me with the attitude your describing. i work 2 jobs over 16 years ago to put my wife thru school and not once have i regretted it.
what I do have are a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that allow me to do with things that would be a nightmare for people like you.

shit sucks bro .... trust me i know . personally and honestly i would stay with the guaranteed and set income and do your side stuff , and keep looking for other opertunities in the meantime . idk its hard to do 2 jobs while learning a new one while there is so much contempt and hostility at home . you just did a year in the pokey and to get a job that fast is hard to do . i personally say just stick with what your doing , just cause how many people who arent felons and have more education for your job that your going for at citi ? its a dog eat world and sometimes the slower guaranteed rout is best ...... keep your head up ...
