need some info
What is the plate on top of the throttle body that has the rubber piece underneath it like a gasket? What is it for? I have seen some pics on here that people have them chromed with the LTX logo on it where do you get those?
Oh yea when I took mine off there was oil sitting in the space under it, about a teaspoon amountLast edited by hotrod96z28; 07-23-2009 at 11:41 PM.

Most refer to it as, like you said, the throttle body plate. Not much of a purpose to it, you can find them all over eBay for around $15. The LTX sticker I believe can be purchased through a sponsor or moderator here on the board. The oil sitting underneath it is due to the PCV hose sipping oil into your intake, sort of recycling oil in your engine.
