just curious
alrighty so i started my car today. and it was a rather cold night tonight. 50s..and i just let it idle. and i have a 160* t-stat. and the car was gettin up to 210 220? is that normal??? i shut if off istantly. i just got done with a head gasket change and dont like all these problems!

have you had the fan tuned to come on sooner?if not and assuming it wasnt going to keep climbing seems pretty normal

no i have not tuned the fan for that. and i just shut it off. lol, that is normal? nothin is going to go boom if i keep it on for a little longer?
