    Default Hi from Metro Detroit

I'm new to this site. I just bought a 1996 WS6 for my wife, but it has a bad engine. I've had many LTx's, Impala SS's, Camaro's and Roadmaster wagon. So for the WS6 I'm planning on doing minor engine mods to increase performance a smidge. Looking at possibly a CC501 cam and LT4 springs. Also looking for information if anybody knows of any shops around North metro Detroit that don't charge an arm and a leg to switch engines? Looking forward to meeting enthusiasts, reading threads and gathering knowledge.

Update...I will be pulling the engine myself by using the happy hooker.

Thanks guys. There will be a delay on the engine pull until I have the Chevelle out of the garage, hopefully in a couple weeks.
