TH400 sucks up a lot of power. I had engine dyno and chassis dyno numbers with my original T56/McLeod Street Twin/12-bolt. At 762 flywheel HP, with the T56 we lost 12.5% at the rear wheels. With no other changes, other than a TH400 with a non-locking converter (no brake) it lost 22%. Then try and enjoy driving on the freeway a 70 MPH/almost 4,000 RPM (w/ 4.11's). Gear Vendors wasn't cheap.
