yea I figured it was a small event considering its only a 1 day deal, but I have never seen any figures on car count, current entry fees, or any current pay outs or if any. just trying to snowball some ideas

Car count is typically in the 30s. For most, it's more of a group track rental than an organized race. Last year we had 2 groups come from Canada, Larry from Pennsylvania, and there are usually a few from Michigan as well as the east coast. Most come for the party, but I understand the desire for a decent payout especially when driving long distances. Registration cost has been kept as low as possible but it's clear that it needs to be raised a bit along with some sort of guaranteed payout percentage of total entry.

The LTX family is a small and unfortunately dwindling. The shootout is to show case the LTX engine. The brotherhood that is created and good times keep people returning. It's not about money it's about a lifestyle.

@Camaro96 if The LTX family is a small and unfortunately dwindling wouldn't you want to try something new to attempt to possible bring it back up. yes its not all about the money but you can only go so far on the lifestyle alone. like you just stated its dwindling

We are definitely looking into our options to bring payouts back to this race. Being that we are a small event and have tried to keep sponsorship, entry fees, and swag cost to a minimum to cover expenses. The cost to rent the track went up last year compared to past years. We are working through the options we have to put together payouts but unfortunately that may come to higher costs to sponsor and race the event.
